Why do you serve on the Chamber Board of Directors?
Serving on the Visalia Chamber of Commerce Board, affords me the opportunity to give back to my community.

What has the Chamber done in the last 12 months that has helped your business? The chamber has benefited our business with valuable marketing support. The additional marketing exposure gives us a broader reach in the business community when promoting our events..

1.What motivates you to work hard?  Working hard and achieving goals gives me a strong sense of self. The bigger return is that I set a positive example for my teammates to follow.

2. What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? Or who is your favorite team? I love to hike and explore the outdoors. I enjoy interacting with the wildlife and immersing myself in the beauty that the world had to offer. 

3.If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? 1950’s Simple, honest days when neighbors knew each other, and businesses and cities worked together to build stronger better communities.

 4.Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without? ?  Coffee. Preferably hot, lightly sweetened with real cream – it can be cold - but it must be good. 

5.What's your favorite holiday? Christmas, I love the gathering of family and friends. The wonderful family dinners and the joy and kindness that abounds that time of the year.

6.Is your glass half full or half empty? Half Full

 7.Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? Miss Lanias my Junior High, art teacher. She was a wonderful artist. A free spirit that loved teaching. She encouraged her students to explore the world and see more details than just the obvious.  She pushed her students to explore new concepts, try unusual techniques. And to approach art as an artist or, as a patron just a little bit differently. She inspired me to see details - to explore - to create. 

8.What was your first job? Housekeeper at Fox Hill Farms in Issaquah Washington.

9.What’s your favorite thing/place to do/visit in Visalia? T?  I love to dine out. Visalia has so many great places to dine.
