The impact of supporting IMPACT Leadership Conference
As a business owner or decision-making executive, receiving requests to sponsor community events is probably nothing new to you. Making decisions on who or what to support with your hard-earned dollars can be difficult. After all, Visalia is a tremendous community with a number of non-profit organizations doing important work. A common misconception about the Visalia Chamber of Commerce is that we are part of and funded by the city, or the state. The fact is, while we work with the city and state officials on certain topics and issues, the Visalia Chamber is its own entity; a membership-based non-profit organization that strives to drive an opportune economy as the catalyst, convener, and champion of local business.!
Back in 2019, the Visalia Chamber identified a specific need in our community; the need to bring an event to Visalia that forwards the thinking and knowledge of local business leaders, non-profit organizations, creators, and visionaries looking to advance their careers. The IMPACT Leadership Conference features local experts as well as nationally recognized Keynote speakers and covers topics from managing human resources, keeping up with the latest marketing trends, financial literacy, leadership development, crafting company culture, and much more. In order to develop and implement this event, as well as many of the community events the Visalia Chamber produces annually, the power of sponsorship support is paramount. As a local business or organization, sponsorship of the IMPACT Leadership Conference shows the community that you care about supporting local business and the future of our local economy. Sponsorship helps us as a non-profit cover costs of facility rental, food and beverage, the cost of bringing in a nationally recognized Keynote speaker, and so much more. Support from our sponsors ensures that we can curate the best possible content and deliver a quality event that rivals similar events that used to only be accessible in larger cities.
